Our heritage & philosophy
Plomari Platinum olive oil is produced with the care of the Giatrellis – Kakampouras family on the beautiful island of Lesvos, Greece. Lesvos is one of Greece’s largest olive oil producing regions, with a deep-rooted tradition in olive oil production.
For four generations, our family has passionately cultivated olive trees and produced premium-quality olive oil. The third generation of the family has lived several years abroad, in Italy, Netherlands and Sudan, gaining exposure to diverse cultures before returning to Lesvos with new knowledge and ideas. Today, the youngest generation, inspired by the art and knowledge of our grandparents, has further refined the olive cultivation and olive oil making art to bring an unpreceded olive oil.
The olives are harvested from our olive groves in the wide areas of Plomari and Polihnitos. Several olive trees are over two hundred years old, while others were planted around 1930 and later. The olive fruit is processed with care and pressed with the most modern methods for the extraction of Plomari Platinum extra virgin olive oil and further bottled with the highest quality standards.

The ПLOMARI PLATINUM name and logo were inspired by the name of our picturesque village of Plomari located on the southern coast of Lesvos. The letter П (Pi in both Ancient and modern Greek) is not only a nod to our heritage but also a symbol linked to the mathematical constant first calculated by Archemides, reflecting perfection and harmony. The olive tree enclosed to П is symbolizing a door to nature and fine taste. Our logo reflects our passion and devotion to olive oil making.
We invite you to step through this door and experience the quality taste that we proudly bring from our land to your family!
